Ladies and Gentlemen, I’ve made it.
Yours truly has been enshrined into the emoticon hall of fame at the largest sports card collecting community, Blowout Cards! I … errrr … my twin … is now the “Editor in Chief”.
I’m not saying that BOuschi and myself are one in the same; I’m just saying that no one has ever seen us in the same room together before. 😉
In addition to this, if you wanted to type in :bouschi: when making a thread at BO, the mug you see above shows up.
In other news, I’ve picked up some 10×14 Cards from Topps.com, and I must say that I like them a lot more than I thought I would! I put together a graphic for you astronomy geeks:
The picture doesn’t really do it justice, and since I couldn’t find anything online about them (much, that is) I did a video. Take a look!
Yeah, I really do like them 🙂
I’ve been able to pick up some really cool cards for my collection! Included in these are about 5 1/1s over the past 2 weeks. YEAH!! :bouschi: – Oh yeah, that doesn’t work here :/
They are not uploaded to my site yet, but I did make a movie poster graphic for one of them. Kind of like a horror film. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you:
SEPARATED AT BIRTH
The pic is from a stock picture website I am subscribed to. I just made it look horrorish, add a TTT tattoo on her forehead and everything else.
I am a big fan of Triple Threads and how they spell things out with relics. I had the ROADIE (of which I have the entire rainbow) and yesterday, I just got in the OAK ROY 86 which is my favorite! I can’t believe Topps didn’t put any patch goodness in, though. Oh well – I love it. I love them both!
Last but not least, Custom Cuts is humming along quite nicely! I’ve had several orders. If you don’t know just yet what Custom Cuts is, it is a kit that allows you to create your own unique custom trading card for only $29.95. Check it out at www.customcutsonline.com
Here is a fun little social media graphic I put together!
I also just recently did this:
If you look closely, you will see that this was created using a 1992 Fleer Frank Thomas and a 1992 Fleer wrapper. A nice way to put a high end spin on the junk wax we all love!
That about does it for today. I hope you all have a great weekend!
