After being out until nearly 2am last night with some friends (as party-animal as that sounds, it was just a few of us hanging outside a bar. Well, at a fro-yo store that was next to the bar!) I was really debating whether or not to go garage saling with the wife the next morning. After all, I only had $53 to invest in my flip quest.
The flip quest is really what has been motivating me to go these past few weeks. I’m glad I went today! I picked up a few small things, but the really good purchase of the day was this lot:
A couple was selling some cameras and equipment. My spidey senses were tingling, so I looked at it all. They have 2 cameras, a lens, a box of misc. things and a strobe setup. It all came out to be $70+.
CRAP ON A STICK!
I only have $53 for this. So, I asked what their lowest was. The husband said $60. I asked if they could do $50. He sat there, in what seemed like forever, and finally said “sure, why not?”
YESSSS!
Getting home to look things up seems like it takes forever. I have ebay on my phone, but it doesn’t seem to quite give me the full picture of what I have gotten myself into.
Here is what I got:
I stand to make a pretty penny off of these items! Oh, and with the $3 left over, I picked up a box full of educational books, and a Geo Trax set. I don’t have a pic of the books, but here is the geotrax set:

Not bad for $50. The 20D is worth at least double your money. The 50mm 1.8 is probably another $50 all on it's own (since it's looks like a FD series manual focus). Nice pickups 🙂
It looks like the big winner was the flash thing – I just sold it for $270ish!
