Top 100 Jose Canseco Baseball Cards – 1997 New Pinnacle Artist’s Proof

Instead of doing a 2nd series, Pinnacle put out an entirely new set called “New Pinnacle.”  How’s that for creative?  What Pinnacle lacked in name creativity, it more than made up for in beauty.  

The Artist’s Proofs (and Museum Collection) parallels are out-of-this-world beautiful.  While this post is explicitly to showcase the Artist’s Proof, I’ll show the Museum parallel along with it below. 

The dufex technology paired with blue and gold backdrops set the place perfectly for Jose’s photo, who looks like he is (violently) swinging for the fences.
