Top 100 Jose Canseco Baseball Cards – 2016 Topps World Champions Quarter Stamp Autograph /10
Ultra super premium 1/1s aside, there aren’t too terribly many cards of Canseco that were produced after 2005 or so that I get excited about. They’ve made an unbelievable amount of them. But in the midst of the noise, a special card pops up every now and then. This is one of them.
In 2016, Topps create a special set of cards with various coins and stamps. The version numbered to 10 features not just a quarter and stamp, but also an on card autograph!
The stamp that came in the card didn’t have anything to do with Jose, so I decided to add in the Simpsons character I created of Jose that is based off his 1987 Topps card, make a stamp, and overlay it on top of the existing stamp.
(Don’t worry, the custom stamp isn’t permanently attached in any way!)
